it's becoming clearer and clearer that i need to muster some sort of strategy for countering the mr's indoctrination of the kids.
now some of these kids are stepkids, so that makes it a bit hairier.
but for our youngest, i will need to think about how to teach her other things too.
Teach the kids about JW history with as much details as possible.
There is nothing wrong in knowing the history of your religion, right?
Teach them about 1914, 1925, 1975, Rutherford, Beth Shan, Beth Sarim, Rutherfords fancy Cadillacs, Pyramids, ban on organ transplants.....
I did that with my son and wife, and by now they are both out...

now tell me u lot is it true that russel used the mesurments of the pyramids to get his dates for 1914, cos i told my son and he went over to his grandmas house and told her, shes a jw,.
she showed him the latest dvd on the jws and stuff i dont know which one as i havnt been in a wile,.

Hi Flip, life is great now.
Havent been to a meeting for a year now, the same is my wife, missed two assemblies, local JW probably gave up with us. (The elders come to our house once in two months to bring us magazines, I do not let them in, I just take the magazines and throw them away as soon as they leave...)
The greatest thing - my 9 year old son is having a wonderful life, many friends at school and in the neighborhood, playing soccer, going to birthday parties ... great relief having him out of the crazy cult...

i do.. now that i am out i find it funny and very ironic that i made fun of such "absurd" beliefs.. here is a list of the top of my head that i used to believe:.

it was presented as a proof jhvh is blessing and aproving wtbs and of course as a sign that the end is so close.... recently i had with my mil discusions about wtbs selling their property in many countries and cuting costs... she did not believe me..... last week we went to visit her and she told me there was an anouncment at her meeting, that bethel is closing down and the building will be sold.
only translating department will remain in the country in other premises and everything else will be moved to slovakia.. recently there is bethel closing down in spain and italy and several assembly halls being sold here in europe.. i hope this will open eyes to many jw to see the gb in fact does not believe in end being so close .... albert.

The other day she was telling me it must be the Truth, if there is such increase ... So I just pulled two latest yearbooks from her library and read her statistics for Europe - it is all about -1% or 0% ... She looked like she did not see it before...
